Install Tybbo

Download Tybbo, then follow three short steps. It’s free, needs no account and installs without admin rights.

Download free for Windows

Free · Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit)

  1. Open the file
  2. Confirm with Windows
  3. Tybbo opens
Step 1 of 3

Open the file

When the download finishes, open Tybbo-Installer.exe from your browser’s downloads (press Ctrl + J) or from your Downloads folder.

If your browser asks whether to keep it

Browsers can be wary of new apps they haven’t seen many times. Choose Keep. In Microsoft Edge, select … next to the download, then Keep, then Show more, then Keep anyway.

Step 2 of 3

If Windows says “Windows protected your PC”

Select More info, check that the app is Tybbo-Installer.exe, then select Run anyway.

This appears because Tybbo is new and isn’t code-signed yet, so Microsoft Defender SmartScreen doesn’t recognise it, and the publisher shows as “Unknown publisher”. Only do this for a file you downloaded from tybbo.com. Tybbo installs just for you and doesn’t ask for administrator rights.

Step 3 of 3

Tybbo opens and shows you around

Tybbo installs for your Windows account, with nothing to choose, and starts by itself. A short welcome opens:

Try itType in the welcome box and watch typos turn green as they’re fixed.
Your names and wordsAdd the ones you use, so Tybbo knows them from the start.
Meet other TybbosSet up Rooms now or later.
All setTybbo starts with Windows, so it’s ready whenever you type. You can turn that off in Settings.

After that, Tybbo works quietly in the background. Look for the Tybbo icon near the clock. If you can’t see it, select the ^ arrow.

Setting up Rooms

The first time you open Rooms, Windows may ask whether Tybbo can use your network. Select Allow (on some PCs, Allow access).

If Windows treats your home or office Wi-Fi as a public network, people may not be able to find you. Set it to private in Settings > Network & internet > Wi-Fi > your network > Private network.

Rooms needs Tybbo on each PC.

  • Installs just for you, no admin rights
  • Nothing you type leaves your PC
  • Uninstall any time from Settings > Apps

Something not working?

I can’t find the file

Press Ctrl + J in your browser to see your downloads, or open File Explorer and go to Downloads. If it isn’t there, download Tybbo-Installer.exe again.

I closed the blue Windows box

Open Tybbo-Installer.exe again, then select More info and Run anyway.

There’s no Run anyway button

Select More info first, and Run anyway appears underneath. If it still isn’t there, your PC may be managed by your work or school, which can block new apps. Ask your IT team to allow Tybbo.

The download stopped part-way

Open Tybbo-Installer.exe again and select Try again. It picks up where it left off.

My antivirus blocked the file

Some security tools are wary of new apps. Check the file’s fingerprint (in step 2) before you decide whether to allow it.

Tybbo didn’t open after installing

Give it a moment. If the welcome doesn’t appear, open the Start menu, type Tybbo and press Enter.

I can’t see anyone in Rooms

Check that you’re on the same network and used the same join code. After 15 seconds alone, Rooms shows what it found and what to try.

I’m not on Windows

Tybbo runs on Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit). Open tybbo.com on your Windows PC to download it.

Thanks for trying Tybbo.
