Example: Tybbo fixing typos as they're typed
Hi Sam, I’ve attached the slides for Thursday. They’re going to the client tomorrow, sorry it took far too much time.
Fixed words flash green for a moment, as they do in Tybbo.
Fixes typos and common mix-ups as you type, in email, documents, chat and AI prompts. It works on its own, the moment Tybbo is installed.
How Typing worksChat, talk and share files with people on the same Wi-Fi, so a quick question gets a quick answer. It works as soon as the people around you have Tybbo too.
How Rooms worksBoth run on your own PCs, with no account and no cloud service in the middle.
You check the figures, the attachment and the tone. Then “definately” slips into the first line, and that’s what stands out. A spellcheck underline only helps if you spot it and stop to fix it, and it won’t flag “their” when you meant “they’re”, because both are real words.
A typo in a quote or a proposal makes careful work look rushed. Once the email has gone, the typo has gone with it.
Quick replies are where typos slip through. “Their going to be late” goes out in seconds and stays in the thread.
A misspelt word reaches an AI model in pieces. In our test, seven typos turned a 17-token prompt into 29 tokens.
Tybbo fixes typos as you type, so there’s less to catch afterwards.
In email, documents, chat or your browser: wherever you write on Windows.
Tybbo checks the word you’ve just finished against the sentence so far, on your PC, in a few hundredths of a second.
A fixed word flashes green for a moment. Not what you meant? Press Backspace straight away and your word comes back.
Not sure yet? Tybbo waits for the next word. Type Their going and “Their” becomes “They’re” as soon as you finish “going”.
If a word looks misspelt and Tybbo isn’t sure of the fix, it tints the word red so you can check it.
Tybbo works across Windows, not inside one program, so the same help follows you from your inbox to your documents to your chats.
Green and red highlights appear in apps that share their text with Windows’ accessibility features.
Autocorrect is only worth having if you can trust it. Tybbo changes a word only when it’s confident, and it learns the words that are yours.
Tybbo’s own specially trained AI runs on your PC and reads the sentence so far, so it can tell “their” from “they’re” and “to” from “too”.
If the next word will settle it, Tybbo waits for that word before it decides.
Add the people you work with, your company and your products, and Tybbo never changes them.
Names and words you use often are learned after a few uses. Undo a fix and Tybbo won’t make it again; undo the same fix twice and the word becomes one of yours.
Colour, organise, centre. Prefer American spelling? Switch it off in Settings.
Careful fixes only the obvious. Bold fixes more and may sometimes guess wrong. Balanced, the default, sits in between.
A typo log on your PC shows the typos you make most. It keeps single words, never your sentences.
In our tests, Tybbo changed none of 4,255 correctly spelt words in formal writing, and 1 of 1,742 in email-style messages.
How we measuredA prompt without typos says exactly what you meant. In our test, it was shorter too.
Can you definately make the fucntion return a seperate reponse when teh enviroment variable is wierd?
29 tokensCan you definitely make the function return a separate response when the environment variable is weird?
17 tokensAs typed, “fucntion” is split into f · uc · nt · ion, and “enviroment” into en · vi · ro · ment. Spelt correctly, each is one token.
| You typed | Tokens | Spelt correctly | Tokens |
|---|---|---|---|
| tommorow | 4 | tomorrow | 1 |
| enviroment | 4 | environment | 1 |
| becuase | 3 | because | 1 |
Measured with a typical AI tokenizer. Every AI model splits text a little differently, so the difference varies by model and by prompt.
Tybbo fixes your prompt as you type it, in AI chats in your browser and anywhere else you write.
It fixes spelling and common mix-ups. It doesn’t rewrite your prompt.
Code editors and terminals are skipped by default.
When you’re iterating fast, the people who can help are often a few desks away. Rooms lets people on the same Wi-Fi see who’s around, ask a quick question, share a screenshot or talk it through, with no server in between and no sign-up.
Take a screenshot (Windows + Shift + S) and paste it into the room.
“Is this the right chart?” Tybbo fixes your typos as you write it.
A colleague replies in the room, or drops into its voice chat for a minute.
Drag in the new file. Documents under 25 MB arrive on their PC by themselves.
Available, busy or away, and who’s in which room.
General, Meeting room, Kitchen and Focus room, each with its own chat and drop-in voice.
Direct messages show when they’ve been delivered, and reach people when they’re back online. Call someone for a private 1:1.
Attach a file, drag one in or paste a screenshot. Documents under 25 MB arrive by themselves; programs never do.
Back from a meeting? You get the room’s history from whoever is around.
PCs talk to each other directly, and everything between them is encrypted. Only people with your join code can get in.
Create a workspace, share its join code with the people near you, and you’re in.
Good to know: everyone needs Tybbo and the same network. Some guest and hotel Wi-Fi blocks devices from reaching each other, and there’s no video or screen sharing yet.
Tybbo’s own specially trained AI is built in and runs on your computer. There’s no account and no cloud processing, nothing you type is sent to us or anyone else, and Typing works without an internet connection.
Nothing to sign up for: no email address, no password, no card.
Every correction happens on your computer, online or offline.
What Tybbo learns, and its typo log, are kept on your PC as single words, never what you wrote. You can clear them or turn them off.
PCs talk directly and encrypt everything between them. There’s no Tybbo server in the middle.
Every few hours Tybbo asks tybbo.com whether there’s a new version. An update must carry our digital signature, or Tybbo refuses it.
Tybbo’s specially trained AI is built in and runs on your PC, so your typing never needs the cloud.

Download anywayWe test Tybbo on real mistakes people made, kept apart from the data it learned from, so the results show how it handles text it has never seen. All results use the default Balanced setting and the same code the app runs.
| What we tested | Result |
|---|---|
| Real typing mistakes people made: 11,161 | 89.2% fixed · 1.9% changed to the wrong word |
| Typos real writers went back and fixed: 12,000 | 86.9% fixed · 2.1% changed to the wrong word |
| Correctly spelt words in formal writing: 4,255 | None changed |
| Correctly spelt words in email-style messages: 1,742 | 1 changed (0.06%) |
| Time to decide when you press space: 120 email-style sentences on a laptop processor | 22.5 ms typical · 59 ms or less for 95% of words |
Tybbo doesn’t catch everything. In our tests, 8.9% of mistakes were left as typed. Mix-ups between two real words, such as “their” for “they’re”, are much harder: Tybbo changes a real word only when the sentence makes the meaning clear, and it fixed 24.7% of them. Very unusual spellings are hardest of all. That’s why Backspace, straight after a fix, always puts your word back.
Results come from Tybbo’s own tests, run on real mistakes it never saw while it was being trained.
Yes. Download it and use it with no account, no card and no trial period. There are no adverts.
No. Tybbo has to see your keystrokes to fix them, so it reads them on your PC, checks each word there, and doesn’t save or send your text. Tybbo’s AI is built in, so Typing works offline. The only thing the app sends over the internet is an update check to tybbo.com, which tells us the version you have. Messages you send in Rooms go straight to the people in your workspace, encrypted.
A spellcheck underlines words for you to fix later, in the apps that have one. Tybbo fixes the word when you press space, in every app you type in. It reads the sentence so far, so it can catch mix-ups such as “their” for “they’re”, which a spellcheck passes because both are real words. It also learns your names and words, and it does all of this on your PC. You can keep using both.
Rarely, and one key undoes it. Tybbo changes a word only when it’s confident, leaves names and the words it has learned from you alone, and waits for the next word when it isn’t sure. In our tests on the default Balanced setting, it changed none of 4,255 correctly spelt words in formal writing and 1 of 1,742 in email-style messages. If it does get one wrong, press Backspace straight away and your word comes back. Undo the same fix twice and Tybbo learns the word as yours. Prefer fewer changes? Choose Careful in Settings.
Most places you type on Windows: email apps and web mail, Word, chat apps, web forms and AI chats in your browser. It stays out of code editors, terminals, password managers and remote desktops by default, and you can switch it off, or back on, for any app. Windows doesn’t let ordinary apps see typing in programs run as administrator, so Tybbo can’t help there.
Yes. Tybbo checks each text box through Windows’ accessibility features before it acts, and leaves password fields alone in every app. Password managers are skipped completely by default.
It’s built to keep up with you. When you press space, Tybbo typically decides in 22.5 milliseconds, and in 59 milliseconds or less for 95% of words, measured on a laptop processor. It uses about 700 MB of memory while it runs, because the AI model works on your PC rather than in the cloud. It pauses during full-screen games and presentations, and installs updates only when you haven’t typed for a few minutes.
No. Tybbo fixes spelling mistakes and common mix-ups such as their / they’re, your / you’re and to / too. It doesn’t rewrite sentences, change your tone or summarise. What you write stays yours.
No. Tybbo checks a word when you press space, so a chat app can never send a half-fixed message. If the last word matters, type a space before you press Enter.
Tybbo is new and isn’t code-signed yet, so Microsoft Defender SmartScreen doesn’t recognise it. Select More info, then Run anyway, but only for a file you downloaded from tybbo.com. Once it’s installed, Tybbo accepts only updates that carry our digital signature.
No. Tybbo is for Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit), and it corrects English, with British spelling by default and American spelling if you prefer. It pauses when your keyboard layout isn’t English.
Rooms is the part of Tybbo for people on the same network: see who’s around, chat, call and share files, with no server in between. Only people with your workspace’s join code can get in, and anyone with the code can read its rooms and their history. Direct messages and calls stay between the people in them. Typing works on its own, so use Rooms only if you want to. To remove someone, start a new workspace and share its new code with everyone else.
Open Windows Settings > Apps, find Tybbo and select Uninstall. Your settings and the words Tybbo has learned stay on your PC, in %APPDATA%\Tybbo, in case you come back. Delete that folder to remove them too.
Typing starts fixing your typos the moment Tybbo is installed. Rooms is ready as soon as the people around you have it too.
